SPANISH FORK HALF (13.1 Miles) 02:10:30, Place in age division: 2 | |
I love this half. It is a good marker of what you will do at St. Geroge. I was wishing that Josse would have ran it and won again. There are lots of fun raffle prizes. I won $ 25.00 to Red Lobster. Yum. It is well run and does't cost alot. Not as much downhill as Hobble Creek, but still fun and a challenge. Felt good the whole race, but had to stop at a potty station. Oh well. The lady that won my age group was about 2 min. ahead of me. Oh, they had chips this year, also.

| | Today I did a mountain run. Fantastic! Here is what I have to say about it. We went up to Sun Dance. It's like DANCING thru the trees. Pranching, splashing, ( thru the river) thrashing ( in the bushes), crashing, weeping, seeping blood (and getting dirt in your mouth). Running, funning, sunning, cunning,( getting past the chair lift guy and onto the bike path). Leaping,( and dreaming). The smell of pine. How devine, so VERY fine. Watch your footing and your tooting. Mountain running. Funning. | Comments(1) |
